Die Songs von JESH sind „in-die Fresse“ und besitzen genügend Hooklines um ein ganzes Stadion in einen Massenchor zu verwandeln. Das Quartett besticht durch präzises Songwriting im Spannungsfeld von Retro-Pop und Neo-Rock. Eingespielt mit einer unglaublichen Lässigkeit ist die Band auf dem besten Wege sich zur power-poppig-rockigen Grösse zu mausern. Die kraftvollen Liveshows dieser jungen Indie-Band und die nonchalante Stimme des Sängers Tobey unterstreichen das Potential von JESH. Mit dem Song „Neurotic Thoughts“ gewannen JESH den M4Music-Award´07 in der Kategorie „Rock“.

In its current formation JESH exists since May 2007.
The special thing about JESH is their songwriting philosophy. THE SONG stands above everything else. Every JESH song has its own atmosphere and tells a story generally separating them from a lot of the fuss.
The JESH sound leans more toward raw honesty and less toward overproduction. Relying primarily on catchy melodies, supported by a driving rhythm section, punctuated with stinging guitars, leaving Tobey’s ironic tenor it delivers the JESH message: fuck art – let’s rock.
